Acquerello

Acquerello provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere to the San Francisco travel visitors. The 19-year old restaurant has undergone renovation recently and the former chapel is now enveloped in warm Mediterranean colors of terracotta and gold. It is one of the rare quiet Italian restaurants that have an old world charm about it. Acquerello is situated at Sacramento Street, San Francisco.

The co-owners of the place Suzette Gresham-Tognetti and Giancarlo Paterlini work together to bring an incredible dining experience to the guests. Mr. Paterlini is regarded as one of the leading wine experts in America and he is an expert at pairing food items with drinks.

Ms. Gresham-Tognetti's skill lies in reinventing the traditional dishes from all parts of Italy in a contemporary style. Acquerello has received a number of awards for its service including Michelin Star in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Bay Area guide.

The 50-seater restaurant is illuminated in a soft light emanating from polished Brass lamps. There is a floral bouquet and crystal decanters to greet the guests as they enter the eatery. There is an extensive range of Italian food items that are listed in the menu of the restaurant. The delectable fare is sure to tantalize your taste buds. The place also has an extensive selection of some of the best wines. The restaurant boasts of remarkable staff that caters to every need of the guests.

There is also the facility of private dining that is made available to the guests. The room can be used for lunches, dinners and receptions. The private dining space can accommodate up to 14 diners in one big table or up to 20 guests in two tables.

Acquerello is the only white-tablecloth Italian restaurant in town and makes available a refined dining experience in romantic surroundings. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
