Is BART to San Francisco Safe?
The Bay Area Rapid Transit is the most preferred mode of transportation around the Bay area in San Francisco. BART to San Francisco is very safe and for more than 35 years, BART continues to be the preferred transportation to San Francisco from cities on the East Bay. It's fast and definitely reliable so there's really no reason why you should be scared of taking the BART transportation whether you're going on your daily office or school destination or on various tourist attractions and venues.
BART has their own units of police that makes sure their stations are safe. They are not the only eyes that patrol the stations but they also installed several security cams in all stations and trains so you are assured that everything here is being monitored to ensure your ultimate safety.
Of course, if you want to make sure you are safe going to and from San Francisco, you must also choose the stations that are from safe areas. The BART stations are really safe but what goes on outside the station is a different matter. It is still your own prerogative to keep yourself safe anywhere you go. BART San Francisco can only do so much but they can't help keep you safe after you depart their station.
There's nothing to fear if you need to travel at night too. Day or night the patrol policemen are in their designated stations and safety security cams will always keep a watch even at night so there's nothing to fear even on night travels.
