1) Extended Cinemas - Thursday, May 5, 2011

On the first Thursday in May, 2011, there would be a fantastic film on screen at the Exploratorium. It is going to bring you a load of fun of exploring new frontiers in films. 2) After Dark - Thursday, June 2, 2011

The main feature of this After Dark would be wonderful music from the famous composer Haitian-American and violinist Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR). Daniel Bernard Roumain is a versatile violinist whose works range from chamber pieces and orchestral scores to films and modern dance. He also creates music for theatres.

When it comes to June 2, 2011, DBR, along with Elan Vytal - a native in the Bay Area, is going to furnish visitors to the Exploratorium with unparalleled performance and fantastic music. At present, there are only two upcoming After Dark events published on the official website of the Exploratorium. During this month, on April 7, 2011, the Exploratorium just hosted the "Skateboard Science" as its After Dark event in April. Through this event, the museum tries to help visitors to find out the science and technology applied in the manufacture of Skateboard. And in March, 2011, the Exploratorium gave all the visitors a great opportunity to explore what would happen during sleep. The "While You Are Sleeping" was proved to be a huge success and visitors of different age groups had a blast during this After Dark event.
