The Ferry Building
The Ferry Building San Francisco is a place where ferries get their passengers who wanted to travel from the San Francisco Bay. It is a terminal but at the same time it is also a shopping center and it also has a clock tower which makes it so astounding.
The terminal offers ferry service from Oakland and Alameda, Larkspur and Sausalito as well as Vallejo, Tiburon and Angel Island, Bay Farm Island and in the future it will serve Berkeley, Richmond, Treasure Island, South of San Francisco, Redwood City, Hercules and Martinez.
The Ferry Building San Francisco is a great terminal and you won't find a spectacular terminal as this one and it's also a symbol of San Francisco travel city. The structure as designed by Architect Brown had survived 2 major earthquakes. It was also next to Charing Cross Station in London for being the busiest transit of the world.
The Ferry Building Shopping Center allows you to buy for the last minute shopping that most travelers need. There are things that you may need to buy and here at the shopping center you don't need to travel far just to buy those items. The Ferry Building San Francisco makes it more convenient for their travelers.
The Ferry Building has had a major renovation that added office buildings as well as an upscaled version of the gourmet marketplace. They have farmers market there every Tuesdays and Saturdays all year and on Thursday evenings during summer.
The Ferry Building San Francisco's clock tower is perhaps the first thing you'll see and can be seen from the Market Street. The clock tower was modeled from the 12th Century bell tower in Seville, Spain. Every 30 minutes you will hear this giant clock chime so you'll know the time. This is particularly helpful for travelers too who are waiting for their departure.
Have fun out there!
