Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco

One of the most popular tourist attractions in San Francisco is the neighborhood called the Fisherman's Wharf. It is the location for Pier 39 as well as the Ghirardelli square, the museum for Ripley's Believe it or Not, the Wax Museum as well as the Cannery Shopping Center.

When you think of the Fisherman's Wharf, you would definitely think of the seafood. Why? Well, it's no good if there weren't any seafood being served here. There are plenty of restaurants serving fresh seafood on any season! Visit Pompeii as well as the Alioto's #8 as they've been serving delicious seafood for decades!

One of the most favorite San Francisco CA travel attractions in the wharf is those awesome sea lions on Pier 39. There are lots of them here and you'll surely have a good time taking pictures of them and listening to their noisy barks! One of their "unwanted" figures but still a popular figure is the World Famous Bushman who does nothing but scare unsuspected passersby while he hides under the bushes. Don't think of him as a lunatic. He's been doing this for almost 3 decades!

When you come to the wharf make sure you buy fresh crabs from crab vendors. They are really fresh and delicious and they're worth the buck! It's a bit more expensive but you can't deny its freshness.

Lots of people go to the Fisherman's Wharf everyday and it can be a bit crowded so keep yourself safe as much as possible. Keep your wallets and bags in mind so they won't get snatched. It's a busy place and an ounce of precaution will work wonders. You wouldn't want your experience here to be covered with horror after finding out you've been robbed! Enjoy the seafood, the boat tours, the attractions and the sea lions but don't ever forget to guard your valuables.
