1) From the South
Visitors driving from the South will need to keep proceeding toward north on 25th Avenue. Follow 25th Avenue to the junction of EI Camino del Mar and 25th Avenue. Then make a right turn onto Lincoln Boulevard. Follow Lincoln Boulevard to the entrance of the Golden Gate National Park. Enter the park and you will see signs leading you to the Back Beach. Follow the signs to bear left onto Bowley Street. Stay straight on Bowley Street for a while until you arrive at Gibson Road. Turn onto Gibson Road and proceed to the end to park your vehicle in South Parking Lot. Or you can make a right turn on Battery Chamberlin Road and then follow this road to the North Parking Lot.
2) From the North
For those coming from the North, the best choice is to take the right exit after you pass through the Toll Plaza. Then turn onto Merchant Road. Follow Merchant Road to the stop sign and then make a right turn onto Lincoln Boulevard. Keep straight on Lincoln Boulevard and pass the "S" curve. When you see Bowley Street, bear to the right. Continue on Bowley Street until you come across Gibson Road. Turn right onto Gibson Road and follow it to the South Parking Lot offered by the park.
If you would like to park your car in a larger parking lot, go to the North Parking Lot. Simply bear onto Battery Chamberlin Road and proceed on Battery Chamberlin Road to its end.
