The Moscone Center
For exhibitions and conventions in San Francisco, there's no other place much better than having it at the Moscone Center at the heart of the downtown district in San Francisco travel city, California. Going to the center is easy as it's easily accessible.
It was built in the year 1981, but this was the first building out of the 3 which is now known as the Moscone South. It was later expanded by constructing the Moscone North by the year 1991.
In 2003, another expansion was made and the Moscon West was built. The Moscone North and Moscone South are underground halls under the Yerba Buena Gardens while the Moscone West is located just across Fourth Street and it's a 3-level hall.
The addition of the 2 halls added twice more room for the exhibitions. The first hall had 300,000 square feet and the other 2 sums up to 600,000 square feet! That's plenty of room for exhibitions from small and poor exhibition planners.
The Moscone Center is very conveniently located where you can find several hotels just around the corner. Checking out the exhibitions here even if you're not from the area is not a problem. There are lots of hotel rooms just nearby.
The people of San Francisco also benefits from the Moscone Center. It has several contributions every year to its community such as with its recycling program where a portion of it is given to the non-profit sector to help with several programs of the region.
It helps programs such as the Under One Roof program, St. Anthony's Foundation, the Food Bank of San Francisco, the Salvation Army and a lot more. They have the most comprehensive programs by far compared to other convention centers in the country and San Francisco is so proud to have such convention center in their region.
Have fun out there!
