Churches and chapels that conduct homosexual weddings
As mentioned above most of the churches and chapels in San Francisco are still very conservative about homosexual relationships but this doesn't mean that a couple cannot be married in a church.
There are a few churches that support homosexual couples and welcome them as members. These churches mostly don't entertain outsiders but if they have known a couple for a long time, they don't object to the marriage and help in conducting the ceremony.
Listed below are a couple of churches and chapels in San Francisco that conduct homosexual weddings:
United Methodist Church - UM church has united a number of homosexual couples in holy matrimony. You can read the news of this revolutionary move here on their website http://ucmpage.org/news/sf_gay_rebel.html
Some of the Lutheran churches as well conduct homosexual weddings, though many times pastors have to be convinced to help a couple enter holy matrimony. Here is a site which has a list of churches that you could call and find information from http://www.sanfrancisco.com/religion/business-directory
