The MUNI fares start at $2 per adult per trip. However, the rates vary for different travelers and travel options:

1. Senior citizens who are 65 + and youth pay 75 cents per trip.

2. Disabled citizens pay 75 cents per trip.

3. Kids below the age of 4 travel for free.

In addition, there are monthly passes for adults, senior citizens and youth at special rates. Another great option is the passport which allows unlimited travel via the MUNI for a period of 1, 3 or 7 days and cost $11, $18 and $24 respectively.
