Several tree lighting ceremonies are set to take place in this festive month. The Berkeley Festival of lights on the 1st of December, at the Berkeley Civic Center Park; the lighting ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton on December 2nd; and the light at Presidio on the 5th of December are a few of them.

The Union Street Fantasy of Lights will last all month long starting from December the 6th. Children won't want to miss the holiday parade that will take place in downtown Oakland on the 6th of December. The Great Dickens fair is also set to enliven the holiday mood from the 28th of Nov - 21st of December.
