Is the public transportation designed for the convenience of disabled people in San Francisco
San Francisco's public transportation system, which is the BART and MUNI, offers some of the most convenient options for disabled people who commute via these systems.
All the stations that are connected on the BART line have elevators. Sometimes though elevators may not be working and it's a good idea to call the BART elevator hotline to check of any such occurrences in advance.
All the MUNI line buses have roll-on access and in addition also provide wheelchair tie-downs, kneelers and most buses also have lifts.
