Reaching San Francisco from San Diego

San Francisco is a beautiful city surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay. It has many parks and attractions together with cultural activities make it favorite for visitors. There are varieties of landscapes: sheltered trees, redwood forests traced by hiking and horse trail. There is also site of a world-renowned monarch butterfly migration. The San Francisco Bay Area features 13 state parks, one state reserve, 13 state beaches, three state recreation parks, and three state historic parks. The coastal areas have moderate temperatures year round with fog likely from June through mid-August. Also, occasional clear days between winter and spring storms are incomparable. When in season, the first option for sports lovers is of course the many games put on by the various teams, primarily the San Francisco Giants (the baseball team), the Warriors (basketball) and the 49ers (football).
