Are there special rates for disabled people on the MUNI and BART system in San Francisco

The MUNI system in San Francisco charges a minimum ticket fee of $2 for all adults per trip. However, it offers a discount for disabled people and sells tickets at 75 cents per trip. Disabled people can also buy a Monthly Disabled Sticker for just $15.

On the BART a minimum value ticket is for $1.40 but there is a 62.5% discount for all disabled people. People who are disabled can buy a BART Red Ticket. So a $24 ticket will only cost $9. This facility also extends to children between 5 and 12 years and any Medicare cardholder.
