Parking in San Francisco is an expensive and difficult task. While most of the hotels have extra parking charges, street parking is very difficult to find. A few high tech lots are present in the San Francisco travel city near the busy areas like the Union Square which are quite good. At the San Francisco International Airport, many parking lots are present where people can safely park their car.

While parking in the residential areas of the city, if people go to the further areas from the shops and restaurants, free parking can be found. Also, in the commercial areas, to find lower priced lots, one has to explore the areas which are far from the central destination. Some of the most convenient Parking San Francisco are listed below.

Pier 39's Garage- This parking place is open 24 hours. The clearance of the parking garage is 6 feet 8 inches in height. Customers who eat in one of the full service restaurants of Pier 39 receive at lunch, 1 hour of free validated parking and 2 hours parking for dinner after 6 pm.

Fifth and Mission Parking Garage- It is a cheap parking San Francisco having 6 floors and more than 2500 parking spaces. This garage also has an electronic system which guides people to the floors having spaces. The Fifth and Mission Garage is located near the Moscone Center and the Yerba Buena Gardens.

Ampco System Parking- The Ampco System Parking is located at 210 Ellis Street near the Union Square in San Francisco. Prices of parking here are good and the place has very efficient and professional staffs.

RT Parking and Valet Service- The RT Parking San Francisco is located at 80 Hemlock Street. Along with normal parking facilities this place also provides Valet Services. Hour of operation of the parking is everyday between 6 am to 12 midnight.
