San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park CA: How to Plan Your Visit

The San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park invites thousands of visitors each year. The entire atmosphere of this marvelous park allows your imagination to take a plunge into the maritime history of the Pacific Coast.

San Francisco National Historic Park is conveniently located in the city's most visited and accessible part near the Fisherman's Wharf.

Parking:

The Park does not have it own parking area. But there are several parking lots and garages available nearby charging from $10 to $20.

Hours and Seasons of operation:

The Visitors Center and the Hyde Street Pier operate between 9.30 am and 5.00 pm from June 1st to June 20th, between 9.30 am and 6 pm from June 21st to August 15th, and between 9.30 am and 5 pm from August 16th to May 31st.

The park is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and almost all Federal holidays.

Fees and Reservations

Admission fee for the vessel at the Hyde Street Pier is $5 and the ticket is valid for 7 days.
