Treasure Island
Located in San Francisco Bay Area is the Treasure Island San Francisco. This is not an island that was created through thousands of years but it's artificially created by man. It was in the year 1936 to 1937 that Treasure Island was created and they named it as such which is taken from the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson with the same title. Robert Louis Stevenson resided in San Francisco from the year 1879 to 1880.
The Treasure Island is actually connected to another island called the Yerba Buena Island. The two islands are connected through a narrow strip of land which is called as the isthmus. When two islands combined they have a land area of about 0.9 square miles with a population of around 1,500.
In Treasure Island San Francisco, there is no gas station so it's not a good idea to bring your car along if you want to visit the place when on your travel to San Francisco. There was a gas station here but it's no longer serving and along the entire island you can ride through the 108 Treasure Island bus route.
In Treausre Island, one thing you would notice most definitely are the very friendly people here. Yes, those who live here are very happy that this is where they reside and it shows with the smiles on their faces. It's not the wealthy type of lifestyle they have here but they're happy.
If there's one thing that people come to Treasure Island San Francisco for, it's really the view. Even if they don't like everything else about the place, no one could ever say that Treasure Island offers a horrible view. You must see the magic at night. At night the place is just beautiful. You can check out the city lights and the Golden Gate Bridge and you'll just be in awe with the delight that beholds after sunset.
Have fun out there!
